if you knew how to revmatch you could have easily shifted without using the clutch.try flushing your trans fluid and refill. be sure to look for any brass or metallic shavings in the oil/drain plug. if you see brass, its your syncros. metal shavings would be from your gears. if you see any metal, its time for a rebuild/new(new new or new to you IE used) trans or gearset.good luck.
