Is it time for a new clutch?

So I noticed today that my clutch engages really high up on the pedal( like my foor is almost off the pedal then it starts grabbing) But the clutch seems to be grabbing fine theres no slips even at WOT. I also just replaced my slave cylinder and removed the dampener box and added a stainless clutch line. Do I need to bleed my clutch line more or is my clutch almost done for?

you just need to adjust the cable so it engages lower. check a fsm for the how-to.

what cable are you talking about I adjusted the rod that goes from the pedal to the master cylinder and that just made my pedal stiffer it still engages the clutch at the same point. any other suggestions?

is it a *problem* in some way? Mine`s alway been like this and iLike it because it makes all the techinical situations of daily driving easier because you`ve got more travel for modulating slipping.

ed: i`m completely stock however, and you`re very not. that could be a whole nother issue, thus.

Adjust the rod some more. It doesn't make the pedal stiffer, it adjusts where the engagement occurs in the throw of the pedal.

Ive adjusted that rod fully in both directions it will go. It just changes how the pedal feels not where the clutch is engaging. that and I re-bled the system and still no change.
