drive the car with low profile tires on a road trip???

I'm planning to take my car on a 8-hour drive with these low profile tires, but worry

1. about the safety when driving at 75-90 MPH.2. potholes on the road.

What do you guys think?

Should I or should I not?

These tires are 245/35/19

those tires are built for higher speeds, so good times to that, and as for the potholes, well ride quality suffers, but you will be just fine for your road trip

I took a 1000 mile road trip, 500 miles each way, about 2 months ago. My tires were fine 235/35/19

well if ur goin on a road trip, i would baby ur low pro's and im assuming nicer and bigger rims

just put the stockers back on, since its a smoother ride + id rather burn out the stocker tires vs nicer aftermarkets

I'm debating whether I should take my 19" wheels off and put the stockers back on for the trip. I really don't want to take the 19" wheels off for a few reasons:

1. Losing the LOOK 2. Have to take the 19" wheels out and put them back after the trip (too much hassle)

On the other hand, going with 19", the ride is rougher and more likely to be damaged. I already had a damaged wheel.

It is a tough call.
