Hah! I bought mine two years ago for $2100. I've been browsing 240sx prices in my area... almost a $1000 more. And we're talkin' SOHC, bone stock, over 150K miles, minor dings and fading paint.

Makes me think of selling the car. But so far, I've only THOUGHT about it...

yeah, prices have soared on the S13/14's here in Atlanta in the past year. i bought my coupe for $900 in February of last year. i cant find any condition 240 anywhere these days for under $1500. and those are beat the hell up too.

I guess I would say, dont buy them in the city.

City cars tend to rise in price when certain "fads" happen.

Search in NICO for "240sx next civic". Nostradamus foretold this...

LOL, IF I sold the S13, it would only be to help with a Z32 TT. And ONLY if I couldn't afford insurance on both!

So don't worry, I'm not going anywhere... hahahaha.

This WAS foretold, and the signs are everywhere. I dropped my little brother off at high school a couple months ago and you should've seen the looks I got. Some kids stopped talking to each other to look at the car. One kid even had the cajones to ask if "that thing was SR." I mean, yeah, it's a nice car, but obviously SOMETHING'S going on when a largely unmodded 240sx fastback gets that kind of attention. [/tangent]

LOL, honestly, unless I can take some chump and get like $5000 for the car, I think I'll just make my brother's day sometime down the line and give him the keys. I'd rather keep it in the family than make a quick buck... unless that "buck" was actually five thousand of them, as I mentioned before, at which point I think I could live with myself. LOL.

My dad paid 10k for my s13... in 1989! lol...

S13s are pretty easy to find in Fort Lauderdale you just drive around and when you see one parked in a driveway ask if it's for sale they are usually owned by old folks who will let it go cheap.. also at least ten cars a month come into my junkyard some of them in almost perfect condition except for a blown motor or minor fenderbender the yard will sell the cars for about 1k

I just bought my first s13 in syracuse NY this past august for $2300..it was brought up from SC last summer too, so no winters. 140k miles, the body is mint, cleanest '91 car ive ever seen. Im super happy after having looking for a 240 on and off for years.

it also has headers, sh**ty exhaust, sh**ty looking muffler (really loud) and an act clutch and grabs well enough to chirp 3rd

now it just needs a turbo, some coilovers, and wheels
