Is it realistic to tow 4500 lbs of boat and trailer with 2007 2WD Pathy?...

The caveat is ... it won't have to tow very far. From storage to lake - maybe five miles at most over relatively flat terrain. Found a 2007 SE that looks mechanically sound with factory tow package.

Good idea? Or should I get ready to buy full-size truck?

With its 6000lb towing capacity, you should have no problem with that.

I'd send it.

Make sure trailer brakes are functioning (I'd add a brake controller to the Pathy), but sounds like the right tool for the job.
