hey guys,

got a question, right now im temporarily putting an s13 motor into my s14 while i rebuild the s14 motor. now as i have em sitting next to each other i noticed the emissions and vacuum stuff is slightly different. I know the s13 has the swirlce control valve and some extra vacuum hose connections up front.

would it honestly be easier to just swap the intake manifold over? because i spent about 3 hrs right now swapping the emissions stuff over and the SCV valve i think (for secondary butterflies) is in the way of hooking up the s14 vacuum gallery ending to the intake

sounds confusing i guess, but this is the piece in the way

thanks for any inputMarko

i would think that the s14 intake should bolt up to the s13 longblock and be fine.

Ancient post I know guys, and I've been searching. I'm from the RB boards so know how annoying old threads popping up can be. I just am trying to put a KA from a 1991 S13 into a 1995 S14.

I have the s14 engine harness and I'm using the s14 5 speed transmission so really I'm wondering what won't just plug in and what needs to be modded. from what Ive read the Maf and Distributor but this thread makes me wonder. any help would be great guys!
