you don't know if it is fwd? what kind of car is it? look under the car, if there's a driveshaft going to the back it's rwd, if not fwd.

Well, seeing as how only your front wheels spin....it may have just been an optical trick.

Matt come on spell it right. its a 1991 Plymouth Laser RS.here i'll say i believe you so you can be right about everything :(i'd wish you come up sometime to show you. i still think you should see what i did in the GEO. i aint saying your wrong, i'm just saying i spun those tires in the GEO. you have never seen me spun back tires. forget what wheel drive it is.

i'll belive you on the Plymouth, but i wont agree with you on the GEO and the Toyota. I was angle down on a hill and i know for a fact in the Toyota that the back tires spun cause it wasnt the front.

okay to end this arguement. the toyota i found out is rear...and possibly the Chevy Spectrum is rear wheel...and yes the Plymouth is front. i asked my friends dad. so matt is right about the plymouth. your right matt...

if you want to read something confusing, worse than this, try forums at lyrics.com. nothing but a bunch of lil smart arse kids arguing over stupid topics.

Ummm, yeah... there has NEVER been a FWD Toyota pickup, infact the only way that you could spin the front tires is if you're in a 4X4. As for the Chevy Rectum.... I mean Spectrum.... I don't remember a RWD model... I suppose they might have made one, but it is highly unlikely. Sounds like the people telling you that you lit up the rear tires on a Laser were seeing things.

the spectrum is a 1989 model...and on my new car, geez....here we go again... to me i thought i spun the back tires. okay. to me. my mom thought so too, but yet she hollers at me for squalling tires and all....so to make this right. listen to what matt said. it was the front that pealed.

okay the front. the front, the front is what spun....thanks for your comment though. hehehe when i spun in the truck it felt the same way in my car. so i assumed wrong and i admit that.

daunttless: i'm wondering if your really a man or not? can you prove that?? :P you know what, i dont care. i dont want to hear it. :D

Sigh, the painful memories...you don't know how many times my girlfriend asked me to prove I was a man and I wasn't man enough to comply... : (

Maybe you shoudl swing over to the 240 forums, theres some nice posts there one by myself called "So my girlfriend says to me" and the other is "Hey there Daunt's Chick" by ChickenBoo, talking to my girlfriend who's also a member. : )

I spin all 4 wheels in my '91 Infiniti Q45 all the time!! Of course...the wheels spinning (like they SHOULD DO ANYWAYS) isn't anything special. Just because the wheels are spinning doesn't mean its powering your car. Otherwise you'd be calling all skateboards and rollerblades 4WD. Perhaps the people who are telling you that your spinning the wrong wheels are just messin with ya? Or perhaps they don't know what the hell their talkin about either. The only way you can get the rear wheels on a Plymouth Laser to spin is if you installed an AWD system out of an Eagle Talon.

see i bought the car 2 weeks ago. i have no friggin idea what the guy done to the car and what he hasnt done. all i know the thing has sat for a very long time try May 2001 til the day i go and buy it. the 1st guy said it was a 93 Plymouth laser Rs, guess what? the guy lied. the 2nd guy up there was like nope its a 91 after i had my banker call up there and ask. 1st guy as i heard from the 2nd changed out my tires on the car and had the hood painted (which looks nice), on the tire thingi dont have a clue there. i see what tires i have on there but for anything that might be added or done to, the guy would probably lie about.

the guy i got it from fixes car etc etc.
