Just debadging my car right now, and I was wondering if its possible? I have an '08 G35x. Didn't wanna take it off for nothing. But if noone knows I guess I will be the guinea pig. I seen someone painted the girll black and left the logo chrome...wonder how that would look on my car since its black???

The center infiniti logo should pop out. It will look ugly. You would probably be be better to get billet grille if you want to debadge. Or maybe a skyline grille.

On the first gens it just pops out since its attached by clips, but there's a nice hole where it fills in.

Hmm. It looks like its a separate piece on the grill just clipped on over it. Just finished up eating dinner. Guess I will take a closer look to see in a bit.

Huh... the wife has the G out tonight so I can't check myself... I'm curious, but if I were a bettin man I'd bet that if you take it off then it would leave a big infiniti symbol sized hole in your grille...

Keep us posted.

You can get the billett grille on everythingg35.com... I respect the performance before the beauty though... Be sure to keep us posted when you get the exhaust and the sway bars....

What exhaust are you going with? the only one I know of right now is the Stillen, but I've heard through the grapevine that Tanabe is releasing a dual exhaust for the new G35 this month... it should be less expensive than the stillen.

Also, if you find a manufacturer of the strut tower brace for the new gen G35 sedan, then let us know.

Good luck on the mods Goaty!

But will tanabe be a true dual? Some exhaust arent true dual and dont give the needed power that stillen provides.

That's a good question Drew... I don't know for certain as I've tried to poke and prod on http://www.tanabe-usa.com to no avail.

I do know that they recently released a true dual for the G37 so I can only imagine that they'll follow suit with a true dual on the new gen G35.

We'll have to wait and see.

wow I like the sound of the fast intentions on the G37. would it sound pretty similar for ours? I've never heard a Stillen before and thats what I was planning on getting. Just emailed them asking if there are any problems with it fitting on the x.

Billet = FTL

Maybe it's not as ubiquitous around you as it is around me, but I hate those things. You take a very strong sexy car, then add a bunch of "square" aluminum rods and try to blend it in with the lines...it doesn't work.

I did see a vertical billet grill on an Armada this past weekend that looked awesome though. The rods were a little thicker than normal and the vertical orientation made a huge difference.
