I have the chrome grille insert on my 08 coupe. It had the black plastic when I looked at it online but when i went to pick it up it had a chrome grille. I liked it better than the OEM black plastic so I didn't have it changed. I've decided I want a black grill now and was wondering if a paint shop could possibly paint this? If so anyone have a rough estimate of what it might cost? I'd do it myself but there's so many places that would need sanding etc I figured if it wasn't too steep I'd get it done by a "pro".

Here's a link to what my grille looks like.

Depends on what shop you go to and where you live. It is kinda hard to give paint estimates online. Sorry man

That's the stock grill. It's a darkish gray. Yours didn't come with that?

That's what mine looked like in pictures on the dealers website but when I went to pick it up it was chrome. I'm assuming its a chrome overlay/insert....?

I think that chrome is just an overlay man, as far as I know the stock '08 grill has always been grey. Rip that biotch off and you should have the grey underneath?
