Is it possible to negotiate a lease?
I m thinking aout returning my 2009 G37 with 38.000 miles on it .its a lease and the the buy out is 20 .700 dollars.
Few questions here
Shall i buy it? It needs new tires and i need to have the front bumper repainted due to a tiny sratch
Or
Shall I lease a newer one? Or buy mine?
I am currenly paying 353 dollars per month.if i lease a newer one ,
I m interested in a short term lease. I m in CA is it possile to negotiate a lease ? And would the dealer annulled the wear and tear on my 2009?
Thank you

Everything is negotiable.
I've never leased but this is what I would do if I were you.

Request quotes from 3 dealers first as if you were to purchase outright
Do test drives.
Once you get a price that you are ok with then ask about financing the deal by putting down nothing, $10k, $20k etc.
Make sure all the numbers and everything is written down and have a calculator with you to check the dealers numbers.
What you want is an itemized price list including all MV fees, sales taxes, etc. to reach an out the door price.
At this point you might want to leave to think it over
You will do this at three dealers if possible
When you return then ask about how much would it cost to lease instead of a purchase.
Leases are complicated and are based on many variables including the money factor, your credit score length, residual value, miles driven, etc.
After you receive the monthly lease figures then bring up your current lease issue and negotiate some more at that point.
The dealers will probably ask about your current vehicle when you first walk in but just tell them you only want to discuss your getting the most vehicle for the least amount of money and try and park far away from the door.
Good luck
