Is it Possible to install a Air Conditioning System

My 1988 Nissan D21 has no air conditioning would it even be possible to install the system (Compressor evaporator Etc?)

Also I would like to add in about power steering would that be even possible to install? (Steering pump etc?)

it all is possible!!! :] Im doing the ac on my truck.... all i need the compressor and pulley to finich it off!!!

We added AC to our 86.5 about two years after buying it. Once upon a time there was a kit with the OEM components and was basically a bolt on. I doubt a complete kit is still available. Find a donor in a JY and take all the parts including brackets, switches and harnesses. This link above seem to show the complete setup.

Note that a w/AC model has a higher output alternator not included in the kit. We stayed with the original and have had no issues with it for over 20 years. Ordering a replacement alt has always sparked some lively discussion

Can Nissan Dealerships install Air Conditioning in the old hardbodys Today?

Visit Dealership or any local ac unit installation expert and ask them to install it. They can do it in very few minutes and for power steering it may take sometime.
