all i hear is v8 grumble from a near by parked car. god those crossfires are horrible cars. my cousin works for chrysler and they sent a ship load of them for sale in europe, and only a couple sold rest were sent back cause nobody wanted that pos.

i'm talking about the crossfire that beat the other crossfire, at the begining of the run you should clearly hear that sound.

I was thinking that the altima coupe cannot make that sound, but then again, i don't know what's making the sound? the intake or exhaust or somethign they put in the hood?

that crossfire was racing srt/8 charger. didn't notice any "sound" besides just regular take off rev from a car. bet your sounds the same when you floor it from outside.

The SRT6 crossfire is a nice car the noise you heard was the surpercharger.My friend has a slightly modded 2005 and it kept up with my last car a 400HP GTO, the SRT6 Crossfire has a AMG-built, 330-horsepower, supercharged engine!

oh yeah, it's probably the supercharger.I'm talking about the sound from 00:15 to 00:17

Yes the sound you heard was the whir of a supercharger. There only 'successful' forced induction on any 3.5 A/C has been a turbo. I think someone tried to get Vortech interested in making a supercharger for us but to no avail. You could always get one of those things they sell on ebay that you put on you exhaust to make it sound like you have a bov, but I think thats as close as you'll get to that sound.
