I have a 2011 3.5 CVT is there any way to do a burnout with out damaging the car... if you pull the E-brake up can that be damaged if you floor it?

If your asking... you probably shouldn't be doing it....

I would say if you want your CVT to live, dont do it.

You can do a burn out, you wont mess up your transmission... But you might cause flat spots on your back tires from using the ebrake. This will have a little effect with ride quality. It'll feel a tiny bit bumpy (kind of like vibrations). But then again ive done some crazy burnouts so if you do it once in a while it probably wont have any effect

Will that damage the E-brake though?

Idk if it will damage it but i do know that my ebrake isnt as tight as it used to be. Not a big deal but before i would pull it up maybe 2 or 3 clicks but now i pull it up all the way when parking for the same effect.

Does anyone know how much it would cost to put a new E-brake in?

Idk but ive done like 100 burn outs with my car and havent replaced mine so you wont have to replace yours for a very long time. I used to go to the track every month and do like 5 burn outs each time. Plus i did some on the streets
