is it possible to replace my ka24de DOHC ecu with a SR20DET redtop ecu, and would it make a difference?

No........the SR ECU will be turbo mapped and expect to see a lot of things that the KA motor isn't going to provide. If you mean, "will the plug actually fit into the ECU"......then yes.

then could you give me the name of an ecu that would be suitable to replace my KA ecu?

I guess I don't fully understand what you need. Do you just need another KA ecu? Or do you need a reprogrammed ecu because you bolted on a turbo? What exactly is your dillema?

yes. ANOTHER KA ECU!!

you see, cars are pretty picky about what ecu is attempting to control the motor. the pinouts, sensor range, ect has to be correct.

the car needs an identical ecu.

things that wont work- SR ecu, RB ecu, mustang ecu, cocaine, hookers, a pack of gum...

yeah, but if he had ALL that stuff and maybe a roll of duct tape, MacGyver could probably make it work!
