Hey there, if you've read my other post, you'll know that today, my engine got toasted, and I was wondering about something. The SR20DE (From an NX, SE-R, or whatever) and a KA24DE transmission- is there any way to mesh them together, or is it going to be necessary to buy a RWD transmission for the SR from Japan?

sr20de from the se-r or whatnot is a FWD configuration and therefore mounted transversely . . .

the transmission from the KA won't bolt on without some ingenuity on your part to turn the motor 90 degrees and make sure some things clear the engine bay (like the alternator and intake manifold if i remember correctly)
