Is it possible to convert a skyline gts engine to a gtr? What exactly is the difference between the two. If it is possible what is exactly involved in coverting it?

short answer is no you cant "convert"

nearly everything is different. head, turbos, manifolds, bottom end, etc.

you can put a RB26 in. but thats a whole other story

The R34 GTT rb25 is the closest to an RB26. It has solid lifters, RB26 rods and puts out 280hp. Compression is still 9:1 but then again they both have cast pistons.

Can sombody possibly tell me the stock size injector for the different engines that came in the skylines from 1990 - 1999. Because i was searching and was getting confused.

This is what i belive i know from 1990 to 1999 the only engines that came in the skyline was the rb20det, rb25det, and rb26det know i always thought that each of these engines came in two different versions the gts and gtr but after doing some searching i belive i'm wrong.

Please help in need this info im going shopping for parts tommorow.

So all the engines put in the skyline pre 1999 are:1)rb20det (gts)2)rb26dett (gtr)3)rb25det series I (gts) in a R334)rb25det series II (gts) in a R33 and R34 GTT

But more importantly what size injectors do they take?
