Is it possible for a 350z style door on an altima coupe?

This may be a long shot, and I tried searching. i've seen veritical doors on coupes. I thought that would be nice. then I went with my friend who is an '08 black on black 350z owner to get his rims changed and I kept on staring at his doors and how its looks. the door with silver handles on the side like that.

is there one out or possible to fit one on an altima? I know it'll look even more like a 350z and people already say it sorta looks like a Z but still, i like the style of the door!

i HIGHLY doubt this is possible. First you need the dimensions of both cars doors" i would look this up but i don't have time". Secondly think about it logically they have different lines especially the roof so i don't see this working. But then again if you have enough $$ you could make it look like a z without it being one lol

Anything is possible if you have the $$$...

Problem is that you have to redesign the door - you are changing the lock release location (AKA your door), you would need to re-position the push button unlock, actually fab a new outer door panel to remove the old handle location, etc...

I dunno if it's really worth it in the end, cause it's going to cost a ton.

Agree with what's been said so far...anything can be done if you've got the money to do it. I'd have to see it to make my final decision, but just by looking at a z and our coupe I don't think the lines of our coupe would go well with the lines of the z door. But to each his own, maybe I'm just having a problem visualizing it. Would be cool to see it photoshopped.

The lower left of the Z is curved whereas the coupe is 90 degrees. If it was the other way around, you can shave the door but in this case, you'd have a void where the Z's door is smaller than the coupe's door in that particular corner.

ah i see what ya mean. drat! figured as much wouldn't hurt to ask lol. shame it's so much money/work just to modify it too. i'd rather spend that money towards something else though. like 19" rims w/ eibachs (still a full stock 08 coupe and checking my options)

well It shouldn't be that much money. buy a spare 350z door handle. shave your current one and then install the 350z one at the edge of the door and reposition the stock locking and opening mecanism. if you do it all yourself it'll only cost you some time and the price of a spare door handle +fiberglass and paint (300~400$). DO it!

omg you say it like that you want me want to attempt to try it! i wish i was pro and do it but gonna look around and see if anyone has done it. I'm sure i'm not the only one who's thought of this, if i am, cool! I dunno, i just think that style is pretty sexy, + black rims with chrome trims maybe it'll be a good color match?

Umm, that's a gross over-simplification of doing this...sure you could give this a shot, but it would probably look like hell, considering you're still going to have the old handle well/handle still there...
