I am making a home made turbo set up, and Ive decided to just use an sr intercooler. i want to buy a cheep intake off ebay to get the pipe from the intake manifold, over to the inter cooler area, but all the intakes are around 3 inches. Is it ok to go from a 2 inch charge pipe to a 3 inch charge pie? or will this cause some problems?

like he said, it doesnt matter, as long as its all hooked together w/ no leaks. i have 2.5 from turbo to ic, and 3'' from ic to TB and it works good.

I was thinking more like:Pressure at compressor outlet - pressure at TB = Pressure Drop

Once the throttle plate opens TB press = Manifold press, and that's the pressure drop that's most important... at WOT :pface
