It's going into a noisy car on the road. I'd say it'd be fine.I'm not an audio nut, and nothing against those who are. You can always get better later.

i ventured out a few years ago and bought the lanzar vibe 800. i cant kill this amp!!! its been hooked up in so many dfferent ways, you could call it audio rape! as of now i have it in my escalade powering one 15 and its a peace of cake. i had it mounted upside down (worst thing you can do to an amp cause of over heating) and it just kept on truckin! if they still make em like this thats my choice

I'm talking about those cheap no name ebay amps like Mitzu or something like that. I'm a fairly cheap guy, so I was wondering if anyone else took the dive and tried one? If they absolutely suck, I'll bite the bullet and buy a good one. Soemone let me know.

My experience int he past was cheap amps will cuase problems, anything from just being noisey as hell to blowing speakers due to distortion or spiked output on the speaker leads.

Buy used over cheap, results should be better as long as you can trust the source.

just be careful...you don't want to have something catch on fire due to the amp's safety mechanisms not working properly. I've always lived by the adage that you get what you pay for...

If you can't afford to do it right, how can you afford to do it twice?

before you do get an amp off ebay, try to read in some car audio forums, ones that are strictly car audio. also, try to look up the company and see if they are still around, out of business, considered scam artists, etc... basically read what other ppl say about similar products from that manufactuer. remember u might get lucky and have the ebay member send you a better amp than what you paid for. :D like paying for an 800 watt amp, and recieving a 1000 watt amp.
