Is it normal to have to replace tires this soon?

Stop the aggresive driving. Are you yankin on the e-brake and sliding the back end around at all? Seems odd that the backs went out already with such a conservative drop. Either way, camber wear will suck if you are lowered. Did you get an alignment when u got the new tires on?

Well..."normal" is entirely relative depending on the aftermarket tires you got. I've heard of Falkens crapping out in 10K miles... So, what make/model are you running?

Also, unless you really screwed up the Eibach install, it's doubtful that it's an alignment issue. If done correctly, the camber isn't off enough to warrant that kind of tire wear (unless of course my preceding statement has any bearing and you're running on crappy shoes... )

I did have faulken tires on it so maybe that was the problem. I have also herd of them wearing down real fast. But now i have nittos on and about 4k miles. Also im not doing any agressive driving or e-brakes. I put too much in to ruin my car.

Im thinking it was probably the tires. We'll see how long these new ones last

When you buy a more "discount" brand of tire, they're going to wear faster...

The key is getting the quality tire at the DISCOUNT price!

DTD and several other places will match prices and you can call them up with a "guestamate"...

"My local Mavis/tireshop gave me a quote of (tell them 25% less than their posted price), can you match that?"

Worst case scenario they say NO WAY... best case is you get em as close to actual cost as possible!

Does anyone have the BF G-Force Tires? How is their wear and road noise for such an aggressive looking tire?

Beancooker (Nico admin) has them (are you talking the g-force super sport a/s?) and loves them. Try emailing him.
