is it normal for the KA24DE to shake a little bit while running?

Just curious because my KA24DE shakes a bit while the engine is running. Or is it not suppose to shake at all when the car is running?

However if it shook too much, would that mean its a timing problem?

Ive recently just reset my timing and the car seems to run okay ( i think).

My engine would shake a bit every like 2 seconds. I get a little vibration in the car but not much.

just wondering if this is normal? thanks guys any help is greatly appreciated

shaking can also be a sign of clogged injectors. Get some injector cleaner from the parts store, shouldn't cost more than 5 bucks, and add that sh1t to your fuel next time you fill up. Do it a couple times whenever you fill up and see if the shaking stops.

Actually it shakes when the car is on idle. I dont think it shakes at all while im driving it. Or maybe i just dont notice it.

I notice a little twitch in my 90 ka24e, I might try some injector cleaner too.

yea... well, my cousin's sohc was shaking pretty violently during idle as well... after like 2-3 sesions of injector cleaner, it was running significantly better. It wont hurt to give it a try... at least afterwards if its still shaking, you know its not the injectors
