Is it just me or does it take a degree in engineering to change the headlight bulb on a 2005 Nissan Maxima? After about a 1/2 hour and about 100 plastic clips on the floor in the cold I gave up!

Read through this section of the service manual:http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/maxima/2004/LT.pdfDetailed instructions start on page 41.
It should help you sort it out. Even though it's for the '04, it should still apply to '05 and '06 models.
