i just practically went through all 54 pages on the CA forum (i was bored) read some threads here and there, only the ones with interesting subjects or the ones that i think might have educated me.

anyways, ive been looking at where people are from in this forum. i see lots of people from florida, the mid-states, and HARDLY any from california. so is there anyone with a CA here in california? seems like theres tons of people with CA's... just not here in california. just wanted to pose the question.

It may be the nazi emissions standards in CA that keep large numbers of people from doing a CA18DET swap. Considering these are non-USDM and non-EPA approved engines.

Well, when I was looking for CA shtuffs, like engines and clips, the only people I saw that had any, besides Venus, were in the Midwest. Most of the SRs are in Cali. So I think it's an availabilty vs. shipping issue.

Also, look at how many regular posters there are in the SR forum, then look at how many are here. We have, what, 10 regular posters, tops? They've got 5million.

i dont! i like having people closer to me. im from the duuuurty south, huntsville alabama, home of quite a few people with very unusual and rarely seen cars! mines the only one in hsv with a ca18det, and i kinda like it that way, but i wouldnt mind if someone else had one if he/she knew his/her stuff. on 2nd thought, id like a really hot girl with a ca18 powered 240 and a love of the car...and fellow ca owners...please? someone?

from what i know/remember, its hot there. so its hot, sweater, humid. i heard like even after you take a shower and you go outside, you feel like taking another shower. maybe thats what they mean by the dirty south. thats what im assuming. correct me if im wrong r34, mr. duuuuuuuurty south. ^_^"

i think the ca is a east side of the country thing. most of us are from the midwest east. we are a elite group not many choose or learn about this motor

As far as I know (this is merely speculation mind you) I'm the only CA powered 240 in my state, and all of the states that touch mine. If there are other's they don't post here, or any other major forum.
