you can find some info on the swap under "Project Q-ship Progress" in this forum, i have not yet finished the swap, i hope that this can help you

you wont need the TT harness, you will have to use the harness that is in your J30 engine, including engine and ECU harnesses, and you will have to either change your drive shaft to fit the TT auto transmission, or use the auto transmission that is in the J30, it will mate with the TT engine without problems......

Agreed. I haven't done either myself (the swap or the walk to France), but from what other people say, it sounds like a real clusterf-ck. Looks like it is possible, but definitely clusterf-ckish.
