OMG your car is broke!!! just kidding, reset the power windows~ check the FAQ section for things like this http://forums.altimas.org/zerothread?id=326810luneatic wrote:i just noticed that... the automatic window opening/closing function on my driver side door(does not have same function on passenger side) only works as automatic when i open it(which mean when the window goes down.)
when i close or raise the window up, i have to hold unto it.
it is normal? i just noticed.
also, the rubber thing on the outside of window, just above outside door panel seem kind a dislocated or displaced which mean, everything looks fit, but very rear part of it does not fitted in as other side. does anyone know how to fix it?
if you stick your key in the door and click it left, then left again and hold, the windows will go up. i had no idea until i went to a meet and phobs ask me why i was turning my car on just to put up my windows haha. i was like whatttttt no way that crazy!DAAN. wrote:H, was just reading on nissan.ca the coupe specs

I gather, in light of this new info, that we can fob-it so windows go down, but we can't make them go up unless we use the switch inside the vehicle. You were right !
hey, i also had the same issue. I took it to the dealer and said i think the window function needed to be reset. They attempted to reset it, but with no luck. They ordered a new power window motor or something and installed that, and now my windows work fine.luneatic wrote:i just noticed that... the automatic window opening/closing function on my driver side door(does not have same function on passenger side) only works as automatic when i open it(which mean when the window goes down.)

Yeah that was a member that prototyped the modules for KP. Their modules are nice but to expensive IMHO. I shot them an email regarding a sponsorship as I am already sponsored by a couple of companies and no one bothered to respond. Oh well, not my lossmrodrig2 wrote:The remote (fob) windows-up feature is a ~$40 module from KP Technologies
