i am on a budget here and i wanna get a set of coilover. I found a really good deal on these used teins. The outside looks really clean except for a coupe scratches from usage. The paint and stuff on the coilover still looks brand new. The owner told me that theres no leak or anything. Is there anythign i should watch out for when i buy used coilovers?

check what it costs to rebuild them If you find that cost to great to pay in 6 months or so then you should probaly wait for new ones..

Outside scratches aren't a concern. What should be paramount is how long they were in service. Were they used in a street only application? You have to rely on the word of the seller.(Risky)

He could shine 'em up and sell them as nearly new, and they could be 2 years and 30,000 miles old!!
