First I will start with the run down of what happened.
1) Turned on the car
2) After driving it for 2 blocks it started shaking alot and sounding like a Harley D. so I thought it was the spark plug cables.
3) When I came to my destination I checked for cables and they were all nicely connected and they were all making spark when tested with a ground.
4) I then checked for injectors and when I disconnected #1 there was no changes in the engine's behavior. I checked the rest and I did get different engine behavior so I went ahead and got a used injector from a friend of mine and it worked well for one night.
5) The next day I drove the car to see if the injector would start working again but then it started smelling alot like gas and the problem was that the top O-ring on the #2 injector was messed up and was spitting gas all over my intake manifold. I changed that O-ring but the engine was still making a lot of smoke and shaking but it did not lag anymore when I stepped on the gas it would rev pretty smoothly.
6) I drove it all day like that and had a friend check the current on the injector connector with a bulb (my dad told me he should not have done that because a tester needs a resistor or else you burn the ECU) and pretty much after checking the current which there was because the light turned on I turned on the car and headed home but now the car would misfire/backfire not only when I decelerated but when I acelerated too.
7) I checked injectors again and #1 was not working again. I changed it for a NEW one and now it is making a LOT of white smoke and the exhaust is spitting gasoline.
8) I have to add that I have to crank the engine for a long time before the engine starts. It starts fast when I leave the throttle open.
PLEASE HELP!
