I was under the hood of my car earlier today while it was running and noticed a ticking sound coming from the cylinder hear. It sounded like something with the cams or valves. Now it didnt necessarily sound like something was wrong, but I had never noticed it before, what does it sound like to you guys?

Search.

There have been DOZENS of threads on this. It's your upper timing chain slapping against the chain guard. Nissan eliminated this guard with their OEM timing chain kits. Get rid of the guard and/or replace your tensioners and it should get rid of the sound.

And also, you're in the wrong forum, this should be a 240sx technical question, this has nothing to do with being turbocharged.

It could also be the fuel injectors. The OEM ones are fairly loud. The KA24DE valvetrain is quite durable and is not as prone to valve lash problems as other motors are.

Also could be your lifters.. that is a clicking sound.. Check your oil level... or it could just be the injectors doing their thing

Lifters? The KADE doesn't have lifters does it?

The KA does have lifters. It does not have rockers though. It does seem rather backwards, but lifters refers to valve lift. So technically all valved motors have lifters.
