16 invites here, lol. I got bored one day and invited myself... I now have 3 accounts, one with 4 invites, 2 with 6 each, so...

I really don't like how they try to "archive" all of your personal emails. "Delete" is not an obvious option. They encourage to never delete anything and use their search function to find old emails. Seems kind of shady to me, and they're exploiting it somehow. How else could you expect to receive 1GB(what a meant to say) storage free?

Still a lot, yeah.

I think they just wanted to be the top Email service. They get tons of ad revenue. The ads are specified to the kind of emails you receive, kinda like the ads on the boards here that change with the context of the thread.

I personaly like gmail. but I agree. They do seem to try to get you to keep mail and not delete it. I like the search function. Just wish it was easier to create folders. I know you can "label" it but still

Repo man gave me an invite a while ago. I've having my roommate's brother send me Nartuo epsiodes to it (He pretty much downloads them nonstop, something I'm not willing to do...I need my bandwidth for HL2DM and CS:S and WoW...). It's pretty nice...never paid any attention to whether I have invites (do they come with an account?).
