Is Castrol Syntec 10w-40 safe in a CA?

Hey everyone I was about to do an oil change before my friend told me NOT to run syntec in a CA or SR.I have always thought Syntec was a decent oil but what are your opinions?

Iv'e been running 10w-30 Syntec for about 2 months without a single issue. It seemed to free up the engine quite alot aswell.

Does anyone know if running Eneos 0w50 would be good for the CA

im curious because i haven't decided on which oil i will be running

any input would be great

you made a thread around a month ago about the same type of question..everyone has their own opinions on which oil to use, so use what you want. im sure it'll be fine.
