is carfax or other car report websites acurate?

Well, i tried to see if this carfax report thing is acurate so when i entered my VIN it said that my 240 is an XE model, but my car is actually a base model So what you think forum?

my old coupe had XE vins and it was not powered, so either the internet is lying to me or Nissan is, hmm

By the way i know it wasn't swapped out to be non power, I had the whole thing stripped at one point

But then again they could have done a entire swap of the dash harness and all that stuff, I don't see the point though, oh well my cookies are done and I'm off the interwebz.

Alright you're f***ing stupid then go ahead. Cause considering I'm the one that's used it and you're not I think I would know. You're the one asking for feedback so just because I said something you didn't want to here you start being a tool. I'm sure it's worked for other people but I shared my experience.

The reason it's not accurate is because most of the time in the south east, it's any old redneck just typing mileage. I live in the south, and I buy car's from the south because they're not going to have as much rust. You're in for a damn rude awakening on this site if you have the Mr. knowitall attitude cause that kind of crap doesn't fly around here.

in terms of accident checks...it all depends on if the accident was reported. if it wasn't, it won't show up. as far as whether your car is an se, xe...base...whatever...who cares?
