I'm getting the Greddy V SPL FMIC Kit for my s13 black top sr20det and was wondering if it was necessary to get a BOV. I'm going to be running the stock 7 psi but was wondering what would be best for the turbo. Thanks for the help guys.

Yes you need one..That turbo wont last long without one..

If you need a quick fix i got the stock sr20 recirc valve,That will work perfect at 7psi..Let me know..

i've been running without a bov for almost 2-3 months. at stock psi it wont hurt it much. BUT over a long period of time it will. i say run it at stock boost till u get enough money for a nice bov

well if you have the stock recirculating bov that would be fine and you wouldn't need to go aftermarket. but i don't suggest running without a bov for a long time since it would be detrimental to the turbo.

Some cars come off the factory line without stock bypass valves. You'll be ok without a bypass valve. Like the guys are saying though, you're going to ruin the turbo in the long run. It'll take a while though...turbos are made to last. Get the vspl and then save up and get a bov.
