I am about to get my KA24DE block cleaned and dipped. While it was out I was going to get it bored 40 over. Is it going to help the engine or give it more HP? I plan on putting a turbo on it in the future so is it good to do this for the future mods

sounds like a good idea although bore spacing may become an issue when boosted/nos'd. can anyone confirm if borespacing is an issue?

pregmantis,

When you say bore spacing is that the space between cylinder walls or the spacing between piston and cylinder wall?

Bore spacing is the distance between the center of two adjecent cylinders, when you overbore too far the part between the cylinders gets too thin and the headgasket then leaks from one cylinder to the next.
