My buddy and I bought a project car to build and drift and what not. The rear diff is a 4.36 gear and neither of us really want it, so does anyone in here interested?

4.36 rear differential VLSD 5 bolt w/ axles

Will sell just the ring and pinion upon request.

You can call/text me at 989-372-2078

Thanks,
Zak

I already have it, but why don't you want it? I can tell you from experience, that gear ratio is great for a lower power (under 300hp) CA. The increased effective torque at the wheels helps tremendously....or is this not going to have a CA in it? Also...why is this in here and not in the Classifieds? Lots of ppl besides CA ppl might be interested in this.

I've debated putting it in my car but don't really feel like swapping axles or changing output shafts and what not. Im on the fence but could really use the cash right now. Haha

Understandable. Why didn't your friend want it?

He has a RB25.

Can I switch the output flanges to 6 bolt flange from my open diff? If I can I may try it out.

IIRC the output stubs are different between the open and LSD diffs, so I don't think you can just swap them. I could be wrong about that though. It's been a LONG time since I had to mess with anything diff related.

It doesn't matter regardless haha. Found someone on Zilvia willing to pay $150 + Shipping for just the ring and pinion. So I at the very least have a spare VLSD carrier and case in my spare parts area.

Ryan, Dee, Someone can close this. I ended up selling the ring and pinion for $175 :)
