I'm new and its my first post! I notice there is another thread here similar to this but i noticed most of the post were in USD (i don't know it the conversiou price works here )

This is my first new car purchase.....So I thought I would ask...before i send in the offer....but

I am looking at a Altima 2.5SL.This is the price I got off Nissan CanadaTotal MSRP* $32,073.00 Taxes $4,169.49 Total $36,242.49.

I've been offered 29,950 + some VIP oil change (i guess free oil change for life)+Mats-+full tank of gas+wheel locks

I want to offer 29,250+VIP oil change+ TInt+Foglights+Spoiler+mud garud+kick plates

AND IF I CAN REALLY PUSH it....Xenon lights...

DO you think I'm asking for too much?

I got the 07 2.5s for $27388 inc freight, A/C tax. exclude pst/gst

inc gas, mug guards, a 5th full-size alu. wheel as spare, mats.

I think the vip oil change is only good for the 1st four oil change, at least that is what i got.

I ask about HID or fog lights , but i cannot add them. Not sure if Canada have the HID, but it seems all options came as a package no indvidual add- on. I think only deflectors, spoiler, kick plates can be added. It is a VERY short list.

I am in Vancouver BTW.

So Miszy, did you buy the car, and for how much?I just bought an 06 SL with the leather/sun roof package. I also wanted a lot of the same add-on stuff you had listed, so I did some research and pricing. Spoiler can be anywhere from $100-$300. Fog lights about the same. Window tint for $250-$400.I doubt if the dealer would throw all that stuff in, AND lower the price as well.I had my windows done on Friday at Zeibart for $250.00. This is the second car I had done there. They do a nice job. I still haven't decided on where to get the spoiler, but I definately want one. Ditto with the fog lights. FYI: My car was a demo with about 9Kms on it, and they dropped the price by $8,400. Couldn't resist.

I just bought my 07 Altima 3.5S for 23,000 canadian before taxes with only 9Kms on it. I got free window tint all around as well as free tank of gas. My extended warranty was expensive but it doee include reimbursement for speeding tickets and other violations with the exception of infractions caused by drunk driving. I love my car and to be honest, on the highway I get 6MPG more then a friend who has an 08 2.5S.
