I'd be a fan of any company that gave me something for free too. Especially a cat-back exhaust LOL

don't hate them for making you pay more for what you think is "better" You can always settle for Stillen catback at that price

Yea there's no need to hate Borla, they are a good company, but I know for sure they'll have to lower the price once they realize their low sales; especially with Greddy coming out w/ the Ti exhaust.

I think it gets confusing when there are 3 or more different threads on essentially the same topic - The Borla Axle Back Exhaust.

I read on one of the other threads - what I believe was a statement from Borla that said - The reason they didn't produce the cat back piece was because it added no performance gain above that of the axle back piece alone. If this is true then the Borla may have comparable gains to the other Cat Back exhausts.

That said - it still seems expensive since the extra cat back piece is not part of the package.

Yeah the Borla sounds mean, but I can't wait for Greddy to come out. If it is anything like the 350Z exhaust, it should only be $600 for Catback. I love the sound of Greddy.

Yea thats all I had to pay. My Nissan dealership footed the rest of the bill. The exhaust was built for this car as a prototype, then taken off by the Nissan dealership when it came back from Borla because the owner of the dealership wanted the exhaust on his car. Then when I bought the car I caught wind that the exhaust was just chillin back there, waiting. Long story short the dealership f*cked me on some stuff so I talked the manager into giving me the exhaust and I only paid the $100.

The GReddy for the Z is $685 on their site and its only a single muffler. It still sounds good, but not as good as the Evo2.

+1 up for LEEPARTS. I explained to them my situation and they're crediting me back everything including shipping. Of course i have to cover the shipping back to them and the nismo has to be received in perfect condition, but the over priced shipping from them to me they will credit. made my day and would consider them in the future when buying parts.

Borla's are extremely high quality, and you are going to pay extra for it. I had one on my Camaro, and i absolutely loved it. And why does everyone assume that a cat-back will be more powerful, or is better, than an axle-back? What logic are we going on with this one?
