Seems like reading through forum the last updated navigation DVD for 2006 M35 is the 2015/2016. Where is the best place buy it or download it as an ISO and burn it to a DVD myself. I gave my 2006 M35x to my son 5 years ago. He has since bought a new Mustang and I just can let the 2006 go. So, now I have it and am trying to restore it (it wasn't a love affair for him - just transportation, so he didn't take very good care of it). It's like a family member for me so I am trying to refresh it as much as I can. I have been out of the loop on M35s for 5 years so I am trying to catch up.

I cleaned up the yellow headlights to make them almost look factory clear now. I had all of the services done on it and am in the process of dyeing the factory beige interior leather upholstery to make it look as good as I can (he let it get really nasty and it is an 12 year old automobile).

So if somebody could point me to the best place to get the most up to date Nav DVD I would really appreciate it.

Thank you!

I'd go with the trusted NavTec source...or Navigation.com I think is what it resolves too.

We do not condone pirating software on here, so please don't push that subject.

I don't think I ever mentioned pirated software in my thread. I was just looking for the cheapest place to by the DVD or possibly just download the ISO version and burn it myself.

Thanks for the trusted sources to buy it.

From what I remember they stopped updating the nav DVD every year and went to a 2 or 3 year cycle. I seem to remember they also come out in October or November? So might be better to wait till then and check the options again. In the mean time, google maps is way better. lol.

As part of your getting things up to snuff, getting these two things is the best way I found to add bluetooth music streaming for phone to the car:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00G5 ... UTF8&psc=1
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0193 ... UTF8&psc=1

The receiver turns on and off with the car unlike most of them, and the ground loop isolator clears up a lot of noise and makes the audio sound significantly better. You cna tuck them in underneath the center console behind the drivers seat to stay mostly out of the way. I leave the bottom of the receiver sticking out so I can push the "connect" button when a friend wants to pair their phone.

Fair enough. I read 'download' as in 'torrent it'. Carry on!

According to NavTec, the latest (last) version 7.10 from 2015. Somehow, NavTec have decided to continue charging $79 for a disc with maps that are now FOUR YEARS OLD.
Unfortunately, my 2009 doesn't use the DVD system and I have to buy 'key codes' for the dealer to update the system. Hopefully, there are older M35/45 owners with the latest DVD who might be willing to mail you one of their older DVDs. That isn't pirating, it's recycling a disc already paid for. I know I would be happy to do it if I had any.

Thanks everyone for the info. I typically use Waze on my iPhone but like to have the car Nav System as a backup.
