if you have the money get em because when ur old coilpacks go out 1 by 1 its annoying and a pain to get new ones quickly.

the price for the splitfire coils are just rediculous... convert your ignition to wastespark direct-fire and you'll have more cheaper choices for coils.

well drove it today, and the entire fuel map went lean on me :S

i need to retune it, is it possible that these coils and ignition system burns the fuel a lot better so i need more fuel or something ?

cant think of anything else....

i don't think that the coils would do it, but the cdi is much more efficient and provides a hotter spark. i think that it definately could make a difference. a capacitive discharge will burn out all of the excess fuel each time it sparks. this could be screwing with your map. you may need to regap the plugs as well. i think that a wider gap would be the direction you want.

well... tuned it, only minor fine tuning left, the car is a hell lot stronger... i needed to add 40% more fuel (!!!!) on the entire map, under load...

it idles better, response is allot better, and significally more fast...

i don't know if the coil are responsible, or the c2di, but i'm happy !

Where did everyone get their coils? The cheapest I've found is around $450 + shipping?
