I was thinking of getting one for my S13 KA24DE transmission. When is it a necessity to get one? I am currently running a stock set up but will be going turbo within the next 6 months. Looking to put down at least 225-250 to the wheels and will be upgrading the clutch to a light aluminum unit w/ an applicable street/strip clutch.

You don't need a trans cooler with a manual. if it was auto a trans cooler wouldn't hurt.
