I guess what I mean by the subject title is this. The GTi-R Redtop comes equiped with ITB's. Is that something that is compatible with the RWD S13 Redtop and if so, what would need to be changed. I will be totally honest in saying that I havent researched this much before posting, other then searching for SR20DET and ITB's. There were a few posts that touched on it, but nothing serious. Anyone have any ideas or input ?

It can be made to work...It is NOT a direct bolt on and IS a custom job......

Ok, so that gives me the general bolt up idea. TY for the link, I am going to post to that. Anyone here have an idea what I have to do for engine management to make that setup work?

Its not really very beneficial for any real hp increases, can you please expalin your resoning for wanting that? I mean its done basically for the 'wow factor', and originality...a nice custom job....but most just think of it as a waste of time from the performance point of view....

for better #'s, a wise route is the Gretty intake manifold, and a larger infiniti throttle body.

I am honestly looking to increase throttle response slightly. I have been told that they make a slight, but noticeable difference on the GTi-R motor, and thats why I am curious about using them on this application.

I agree that a little bit of my desire to do this is also for that WOW factor as I mainly go for performance and rarely for specialty equipment like this, but seeing it is already an OEM Nissan part, I figured it wouldnt be that much of a PITA to change over to a RWD Redtop. I agree with you for better numbers across the board a larger diameter TB and an upgraded Intake Manifold would work, but I dont think that increase to throttle respose would be to the same extent of the ITB's. I could be wrong. I just want slightly more linear throttle response instead of the unfavorable, idle.1/4.1/2.3/4.and full throttle I seem to have now.
