Would swapping the radiator i have now in my KA24E Manual to a radiator from an automatic be reasonable? Give the system more coolant and a larger area for cooling with out having to cool the trans fluid.

Unless you are getting it cheap, I would just upgrade to a Koyo radiator. They are fairly reasonably priced.

If you have manual and swap in an auto rad, you will have less cooling area because there is a seperate area on the bottom for auto cooling lines. Go Koyo.

the only problem with that is they cost $350

and $350 is quite a lot when you have very little

Keep searching. I scored one new for for $200 on ebay. But that was over a year ago when ebay still had steals to be had.

if you cant afford the koyo, go for a mishimoto. lots of people use them and are very satisfied with them. me included.
