Ok if you are going to say that harnesses are dumb and all that crap then don't even write anything. I have a harness and im getting a seat and was inquiring about how safe anchoring the shoulder straps of a harness to a harness bar is compared to anchoring them at a lower point. I've heard that too low will compress your spine. Do harness bars do the trick?

From what i have heard yes they do the trick. I to have a 4 point harness i have been looking for a harness bar but cant find one.

And that is true it can compress your spine if you get in an accident, but i garuntee you wont come out of that seat.

Idealy a full welded DOM cage 10 points or more with door bars with harness cross bar built into the cage. Somethat that will pass NHRA full cage specs will pass formula D or D1.
