Is a 5spd conversion (done right) going to hurt the value of my kouki?

I found a kouki I want to buy, but it has had a 5spd conversion. Will this hurt the value of it at all? The rest of the car is super clean, and the conversion was done right and looks pretty much perfect. Does carfax show the car as an auto if I were to run it? Thanks.Greg

as long as it was done right it wouldn't hurt the value of your car. I would believe that it would bring up the value this 240sx cuz to find a manual Kouki is rare.

IMO i would rather have a converted 5 speed kouki over an auto kouki. as long as it was done right the resale value should be higher manual>auto

Any idea if it would show up as an auto on a carfax report?

I don't think it would, here in NY it doesn't even say Auto or Manual on the title.

Also, this one doesn't have abs or vsld (it's an se though). Is that a big deal for if I eventually want to resell it, and will someone like me even notice not having both the features if the car stays mostly stock?
