To the OP:800 sounds like a pretty good deal to me.Coolwhip wrote:$800 is a good deal.
Let me know when you are looking for the rest of those parts including the transmission.
it is annoying as hell trying to piece it together with random missing parts. cars too. most likely the guy who you're buying the "rolling chassis" from didnt know wtf they were doing when they were pulling the motor and lost/broke a bunch of stuff. think about it this way.. if they knew what they were doing they probably would've finished the job, not tried to pass it off on you. same with a motor thats been hacked up. if you're very familiar with the motor or car, then its not too bad. but if it's your first time it will add a lot of headachelucky7 wrote:if i were doing this again. i would get a clip. i dont care how much more it costs. it will save you when it comes to your sanity. it will also save you ALOT of time. mine was incomplete. it took 2 years to get it running.
i also had a car with the motor and trans ripped out before i got it. never again will i do that either. worst possible scenario.
next time, its a full, COMPLETE clip. and a car in running condition when i take ownership.
We have a perfect long block here.slowrb20 wrote:ripracer. you got an old head sitting somewhere for an rb20 you wanna get rid of cheap?
