Maybe and at sometime yes.

What you didn't mention was the price. Also it depends on how the mileage was accumulated. I believe it is about 25% above normal mileage but if they were not 'hard' miles then it may be much better than something driven 'hard' and not taken care of with half as much.

Get a Carfax, have the car examined closely by someone who knows what they are looking at.

What kind of accident only ends up with only $12 in damage? Must have scraped a sticker off of it.

It might've hit a curb and popped one of the chrome air caps off the wheel.

The $12.00 was the price for the report, not the amount of actual damage.I will order the report this evening and check.

OK, that makes sense! (to me)

I think the damage has to be over 5k to make it a damaged title...but that may vary from state to state.

Ok, here is the latest from the accident report. The G35 was in the far right rurn only lane and wanted to go straight. The G35 changed lanes infront of a truck which clipped the G35. Both Vehicles drove away according to the accident report.According to the diagram the rear left panel was clipped. The box on the police report was checked that the damage would cost over $1000.00 which i kind of expected. This happened in Austin, TX not sure if that has much to do with the high mileage or not, i've never been to Austin. What would you guys as far as purchasing this car, Yay, or Nay?????

I'd get them to drop the price...if they don't, walk away.

Thanks Joe,What do you think is a good asking price, and what are your opinions on an Extended Warranty.

Personally IMO I wouldn't pay more than 13.5 for the car. And if you do infact decide to do so, I would purchase an extended warranty, but I don't know if many companies would take a rebuilt/damaged title car under liability to their warranty program.

I would ALWAYS be hesitant to purchase a car that has had an accident where the front end was hit...

Don't just settle my friend... keep searching IMO.

30k - 16k = 14K and you take over the payments. Roughly $16k, $553.66 at 3.5% APR
