howdy, i came across this 83 280zx, it's pretty much immaculate on the outside, a little to no rust..that's how minor it is...it's an auto, and she doesn't think it's a turbo because she said it would usually say on the engine or the outside..., but it's just in good condition...i really only want the wheels off of it but then they said they only wanted 3 bills for it, the thing is it don't run, it use to last year, the owner told me it needs a battery and spark plug, it's got the swastika wheels on it, so is it worth it to get the whole thing, i mean i already have enough projects...i really don't want another non-working car, would one of you guys buy it for this low or high? i don't know what these cars are worth...thanks

if there is no rust thats a really good deal. I would say drop your other projects and put in a new motor and tranny and get the 280zx running. Its a beautiful car. save her.

who needs a V8 when you can turbo it, if it's not already and have the same power with less drama, and btw, 15"swasticas came on turbo cars and 14" swasticas came on N/A's of course 30 years later who know which wheels are on what cars now

*take a peak at the vin tag on the dash, HLS130C indicates turbo look for that C

I'd think you'd find more of them being south of the rust belt, I know I keep finding deels in FL and all the other places that are further than I want to go

$300 is a sweet deal for a 83 280ZX... the 82 has the turbo hood... id say get a turbo engine and T5 BW tranny and drop that baby in there... you wont be disapointed....
