I have 205 60r 15 on front and want to replace rear tires with 20565r 15 because the tire is more popular/cheaper. I assume that the side wall is 5% or 10 mm larger so I have to make sure it clears suspension etc.

Looks like you answered your own question! :) It IS taller, but only marginally so. Effective gear ratio goes up, taller gearing, but it's only a minor change.

I ended up buying 60r at walmart because they would not allow me to buy 65r as it is not the mfg recommended size.

do i need the fancy 90h feature? i do drive in a lot of rain. i was thinking of buying all season.

Just remember you'll have a thicker sidewall and your car will actually sit a little higer that before. I ran 205/60-15s before and if you want the closest size to stock rolling diameter, I'd recommend 205/55-15s. A bit more expensive but they look awesome and handle better.

umm...stock is 205/60/15

how would you change to stock by lowering aspect ratio when you already are stock?

stock is a 195 series tire. To keep as close to stock as possible, you want a 205/55/15 tire.

All came stock with 195s. S13s, anyway.

205 width tires were an option.

true.both 190/60-15 and 205/60-15were original equipment fitment.

The 205/55-15 is an OK compromise.

195 was the most common width. 205/55-15s looks good. The sidewall is thinner than 205/60 and it handles better. The car understeers less when I push it.
