is 205-50-15 to small for a 240

well wile looking for tires i notised that thar are more proformanc oranted tires in size 205-50-15 i was alredy told 205-55-15 was ok but i mean whats another 5mm

That link might help. We just talked about this exact same tire size issue.

It's not actually 5mm, but rather, 5% of the section width change.

5% of 205mm = 10.25mm change in sidewall height.

205/50-15 sidewall is 102.5mm. 205/55-15 sidewall is 112.75mm

Overall Diameter:205/50-15 OD is 23.07"205/55-15 OD is 23.88"

i am going to get those size on 180sx rims i have in my garage for autox. will that size work oksorry for the jacking

so then would 215-50-15 be beter

they are only 6 inches wide so i dont know how wide to go
