its not bad, but for another 100 bux more you can get a t3 turbo and make more power out of it, than a t25.

And $300 for the manifold to make it fit, and $250 for the injectors to fuel it, and $500+ for the controllers to control the bigger injectors, and $200 for the downpipe to fit the bigger turbo. Yeah, great advice.

$200 is about standard. Who is doing the rebuild if I may ask?

Somehow, you folks forgot about the T28 option.

Similar power to the T3, no lag. Think about it.

the s15 t28 9f100 is somewhat in demand and isprobably out of discussion since it cost about 700$ brand new and 500$ used

why not consider s14 t28? I think the 6f900? it's still ball bearing and works good... cost about 300$ used for a good one

From what I get, they are basically the same damn turbo (for all intents and purposes).

What the hell is different about them anyway?

s15 have the center divider at the wastegate/turbine side in addition to full ball bearing instead of only single side

Very true.

Age is also a factor. I would feel better about spending a little more and getting a new/er turbo than an older one just to save a buck.

BUT, once again, to boost up even on a T28 on a CA or SR (R/B top) you need bigger injectors and a controller. Nothing major, but more money and work.

Yeah, your car is BOSS man. People who don't like it suck, what wheels are those, Kazeras? They'd look nice on my S14.
