it's personal preference.

search.

read.

learn.

just look thru the picture threads and you can find many verts/coupes/hatches running 18's in all different configs.

The skinny width and high offset will make those wheels look like poo.

18 inch looks great on an sx. Vert and coupe. But the width and offset of those ebay wheels are terrible!

On standard arches I prefer 8.5j et30 on the front, and something like 9j et 30-35 on the back.

18's are fine (I rock 'em) but you need better width and offset. Check classifieds here....

Well said Bob!

I've got 18's on my 'vert. I think they look great. I've got 8" wide fronts with a 35 offset and 9" wide rears with a 43 offset. They could use about 8-10mm spacers to be perfect.

So those ebay wheels with the 42 offset would be pretty sunken.

18s are perfect, if I had the money, I'd be rockin 19s. be sure to have it super low and to research the topic of fitment, and how widths and offsets work together to either make or break how a wheel looks on a car. Those, as mentioned, would look hideous on a 240sx. They seem much more oriented for a FWD car, like Hondas.
